Each rail-based feeding system comprises four primary components: a rail-mounted feeder, a DC charging station, an automated loading system, and a feed hopper.
Upon traveling along the rail to a designated aquaculture tank, the rail-mounted feeder automatically dispenses feed in accordance with pre-configured target quantities and discharge rates.
Once the feeding cycle is complete, the unit automatically proceeds to the next aquaculture tank to carry out the feeding process.
At the conclusion of each feeding session, the rail-mounted feeder automatically returns to the feed room to recharge its batteries and replenish its feed supply.
