95% of large-diameter solids have already been removed by the physical filtration system, leaving behind only the remaining 5% of particulate matter—typically particles measuring ≤23 µm. This naturally creates a significantly larger surface area for contact with nitrifying and nitrite-oxidizing bacteria.
This will cause ammonia nitrogen and nitrite to decompose faster and more completely.
Smaller capacity
Because we utilize a powerful physical filtration system, 95% of waste is removed through physical filtration; the remaining 5% requires fewer biological filtration bacteria to decompose.
